Master Service Technician
With a love of cars from a young age, it was inevitable that Simon would seek a career in the automotive industry when leaving school.
Simon’s first employers were Oakes Bros in Hungerford, where he did his apprentice working on Land Rovers. From here, Simon moved on to Taylors Commercial Motors in Newbury where he worked on MOD vehicles, cars and trucks. The next 10 years would see him being employed by the AA. Located at their base in Thatcham, his role was keeping the AA fleet on the road and thoroughly enjoyed his decade of employment.
Ridgeway Garages in Newbury was to be Simon’s last employer before setting up Wash Water Service Centre, where he would spend 9 years working for the group undertaking servicing, MOT’s and PDi’s.
In May 2010, Simon and his colleague at Ridgeway, Adrian Harris formed Wash Water Service Centre and now Simon has the benefit of all his previous experience behind him to offer his new customers and ones that have followed him throughout his career.
